Prestigio releases firmware updates
Prestigio, a dynamic international vendor of state-of-the-art IT and CE products for style-conscious consumers, has published new firmware versions for its three-series of MultiPads PMP3084B.
This new firmware edition 2.1.14 for MultiPad PMP3084B includes Android Market preinstalled, replacing the previous AppsLib Market or Slide Me Android Marketplace, the alternative app stores to the Android Market.
Offering over 200 000 various games and applications, the official Google Android Market will make it so simple to explore the abounding world of digital content.
Mark Forbes, product marketing manager at ASBIS Africa, says “The new updates have also improved localisation settings and resolved the minor issues in running several games in the previous firmware releases.
“Thanks to the OTA (over the air) technology, the PMP3084B will automatically find the update and instantaneously proceed with the upgrade of the firmware. However, Prestigio strongly recommends backing up all data before processing a firmware update,” Forbes concludes.
